On March 1, 2018 our English Advanced Courses saw a dramatised version of the famous dystopian novel "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury at the Academy of Arts in Berlin-Tiergarten. The novel presents a world in which books are burnt, reading has become a crime and owning books is severely punished. Instead people are entertained and kept under control by a system of superficial shows. At the same time the government observes their every move. Sounds all to familiar? That's what we thought! We very much enjoyed the performance by The American Drama Group Europe.
